Hepatitis Panel
HAV(Hepatitis A) Detection Test
Hepatitis A is a viral infection that causes liver inflammation and damage. Inflammation is swelling that occurs when tissues of the body become injured or infected. Inflammation can damage organs. Viruses invade normal cells in your body. Many viruses cause infections that can be spread from person to person. The hepatitis A virus typically spreads through contact with food or water that has been contaminated by an infected person’s stool. Hepatitis A is an acute or short-term infection, which means people usually get better without treatment after a few weeks. Hepatitis A does not lead to long-term complications, such as cirrhosis, because the infection only lasts a short time.- Some people have symptoms 2 to 6 weeks after they come in contact with the virus. People with hepatitis A typically get better without treatment after a few weeks. In some cases, symptoms can last up to 6 months. These symptoms may include: dark yellow urine, feeling tired, fever, gray- or clay-colored stools, joint pain, loss of appetite, nausea, pain in the abdomen, vomiting, yellowish eyes and skin, called jaundice.

DiAGSure Hepatitis B Viral Load Kit
Hepatitis B is a highly preventable liver diseases caused by the Hepatitis B Virus which affects the liver. It can cause acute and chronic infection. More than 350 million individuals 8.5% of the world population are chronic HBV carrier. The cause is the hepatitis B virus. Having chronic hepatitis B increases your risk of developing liver failure, liver cancer or cirrhosis — a condition that permanently scars of the liver. Other symptoms of this disease are fever, fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dark urine, clay-colored bowel movements, and joint pain, jaundice (yellow color in the skin or the eyes). DiAGSure kits use endogenous IC to take care of sample quality along with process control. Per 25 uL reaction requires 10 uL of sample DNA input. In case of concentrated DNA, the DNA maybe diluted 1:2 or 1:10 (as per requirement with DNA dilution buffer in the kit) before template addition. We are providing additional reagents so that a customer can run the set of four quantitative standards per 10 samples.- Specimen type: whole blood, plasma or serum
- Genotype Coverage: Detects all 8 HBV genotypes A-H
- Technology: 2-plex TaqMan PCR (one for target, other for internal control)
- Turn-around-time: 1 hr 10 mins
- Sensitivity: 3 copies of in vitro cloned viral Core/precore gene construct equivalent to 2.68 IU/mL viral count.
- Specificity: 100%

DiAGSure Hepatitis C Viral Load Kit
Hepatitis C is a liver infection that can lead to serious liver damage. It’s caused by the hepatitis C virus .it is the most common blood borne viral infection. The virus can caused both acute and chronic hepatitis. Others symptoms are: Bleeding easily, bruising easily, fatigue, poor appetite, yellow discoloration of the skin and eyes, dark coloured urine, itchy skin, weight loss, swelling on legs, spider angiomas, and hepatic encephalopathy. DiAGSure kits use endogenous IC to take care of sample quality along with process control. Per 20 uL reaction requires 10 uL of sample RNA input. In case of concentrated RNA, the RNA maybe diluted 1:2 or 1:10 (as per requirement with RNA dilution buffer in the kit) before template addition. We are providing additional reagents so that a customer can run the set of four quantitative standards per 10 samples.- Specimen type: whole blood, plasma or serum
- Genotype Coverage: Detects all six genotypes (1-6) of HCV
- Technology: 2-plex TaqMan PCR (one for target, other for internal control)
- Turn-around-time: 1 hr 15 mins
- Sensitivity: The sensitivity of the kit is less than 100 copies of viral RNA equivalent to 22.7 IU/mL viral count.
- Specificity: >=99.99%
